Born in a trailer park in western New York, art, and music didn’t seem like realistic goals to set in life. Punk rock and skateboarding, however, reframed my outlook, and ignited my passion to go after my goals at all costs. I was accepted to fashion school but later moved home to help my mom and little brother after my dad passed away suddenly.
At 19 my band signed our first record contract and thus began my career as a touring musician. Playing guitar for Polar Bear Club, Hit The Lights, and 3OH3 to name a few, I’m currently enjoying my position as the bassist for Joywave.
When the Covid-19 pandemic struck the world and halted all live concerts I, like many, was struck with the question “what now”? Realizing I’ve spent decades facilitating merch production, sourcing artists, studying trends, and pitching concepts, I drew on my fashion and music experience and started designing merchandise for my friends bands and businesses.
Growing quickly once live music and touring resumed, I wanted to brand this new chapter for what art and music has always been for me: my true love. This is where true love.png was born. I’m excited to see what chapters are next and where we can take our projects together.
